Safe Place is a national youth outreach and prevention program designed to provide immediate help and safety for young people in crisis. Through a network of designated Safe Place locations, youth can access emergency shelter, support services, and resources to ensure their safety and well-being.

Program Description
Safe Place is a national youth outreach program that educates thousands of young people every year about the dangers of running away or trying to resolve difficult, threatening situations on their own. This easily replicated initiative involves the whole community to provide safe havens and resources for youth in crisis.
Qualifying Criteria

​Youth and young adult ages 11-17.

Serves Bell, Coryell, and McLennan Counties.
Services Offered

Provides immediate interventions to address issues at the earliest possible stage of a crisis

Any business with SafePlace sign will direct youth to CTYS to find shelter or other needs

Provides support to youth/young adult by advocacy and access to safe, supportive resources
